Professional profile: I am an orthopaedic consultant based at Watford General Hospital where I perform the large majority of the foot and ankle surgery for West Herts NHS Trust.

I qualified from Southampton University Medical School in 1991 and completed my specialist registrar training on the University College London Hospital/Middlesex Hospital rotation in 2003. My fellowship experience includes six months as a foot and ankle fellow in Dublin, six months as a lower limb reconstruction and Ilizarov fellow in Edinburgh (2003) and two months as a trauma fellow in Hannover (2001).
